Playing with friends and members of your Organization is one of the best ways to enjoy and get introduced to the game. Within the ‘verse, there are special “simulators” that allow citizens to practice their skills without fear of losing their hard-earned equipment. These can be accessed from the menu after launching the game.
To play either of these game modules, you will need a Game Package that includes Star Citizen on your RSI Account.
Arena Commander is a game played from a sim pod within the Star Citizen universe. For Star Citizen Alpha, Arena Commander is accessed through the main menu and consists of single player and multiplayer game modes for open flying, dog-fighting, and ship racing. There are even special perks for completing certain modes!
