During the 3.18.0 Patch, anyone can explore Star Citizen’s incredible Persistent Universe for free. Even if you don’t have a Star Citizen Game Package, you can try it for free and fly to the in-game event in style, as we’re providing every account with five starter ship as a loaner for the time of the Free Fly.
Follow the steps below to download Star Citizen for FREE and explore the universe in five iconic vehicles through April 20.
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
In order to become a Citizen of the Verse first of all you need to create an account on the official Star Citizen website. If you register using the button below you will receive 5,000 UEC to use in-game after purchasing the first Pack.

I already had an account from an earlier trial and when I try and redeem the code STAR-GSY5-NKKS it is not complete, and it fails. Is this only open to new players?

Hi Scott, nice to meet you! Yep the code is valid only for the new account but you can go here: https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us
And opening a Ticket you can asking the deleting your account, in this mode you can re-create the account with the code.
Or, you can crate a new account with a new E-Mail, but i don’t like this method.
However, if you are interested on the game IMHO wait the release of the referral bonus before to buy the game. If you want i can update you in this post!
