Alpha Patch 3.24.0 has been released to PTU, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.24.0-PTU.9284528.

Characters in this new environment will be built from LTP data so items such as medpens, ammo, rentals, and refinery jobs will be lost.

Known Issues

  • PU – Multiple Locations – Storage Access Kiosk / UI / Locations – Opening the Storage Access Kiosk will cover the player’s POV.
  • PU – Stanton – Orison – Locations / Shopping – Physical Shopping – Quick buying items on display at the Orison Vision Center ends in transaction error about invalid Player Inventory
  • PU – Stanton – GrimHEX – Locations – Transit – Hangar Elevators – Hangar Instance elevators can be called and arrive at the current floor but the doors do not open – 100% Repro
  • PU – Personal Hangars – Locations – Personal Hangars do not open when contacting ATC to take off or land at a destination (High Chance)
  • PU – Stanton – Security Post Kareah – Locations / AI – AI are missing inside of Kareah, only outside Guard AI spawn
  • PU – FOIP / VOIP – Audio – Players cannot hear other players through any audio channel

Features & Gameplay

Gameplay

  • Tractor Beam Use Adjustments

Tractor Beam use on the multi-tool has had its cargo mass balanced to restrict use to cargo sizes under 32 SCU (multi-tool can no-longer move 32 SCU crates) and to reduce usable distance. Both handheld tractor beams have had their movement speeds reduced.

  • Item Bank UI Changes

Based on feedback we determined the Storage Access flow was not providing the results we wanted. We’ve thus changed it to open a filtered view of the Warehouse inventory to only show FPS gear, like the Storage Access kiosk did. Search is missing in that view and will be added in a future patch. Fortunately, the Storage Access screen shares a lot of functionality with the Freight Elevator Kiosk, so it wasn’t throw-away work.

  • Cargo Hauling Mission Changes

Greatly Increased Cargo Hauling Mission Rewards. Allowed players to retrieve cargo for shared missions where they aren’t the original mission owner. Set Hauling Intro missions to not be shareable.
Ships and Vehicles

  • Hull-C Shield and Health Updates

Removed SDFs and Shields from Spindles and Attached Cargo of the Hull-C. Greatly Increased the Hull-C Spindle Strut Health.

Core Tech

  • Made Further Ship Debris Collision Physics Performance Improvements
  • Entity Count Performance Polish for Hurston

  • Fixed – PU – Cargo Hauling – Mission reputation hits overflow causing reputation to be negative
  • Fixed – <Channel Disconnected> cause=30007 (STARC-122730)
  • Fixed – PU – Cargo / Hull-C – When stationary in the cargo transfer area the cargo transfer does not happen (STARC-95643)
  • Fixed – PU – Personal Hangar – Leaving to Menu with a ship on pad does not stow personal hangar for next shard joined (STARC-120885)
  • Fixed – Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / UI / HUD – Quantum Travel / Bed – Player can see Quantum Travel mode UI when lying down in bed after exiting the pilot seat (STARC-109016)
  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Cargo Hauling – Missions / Freight Elevator – Intro mission name is cut off in the freight elevator
  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Mission Content / Cargo / Game Code – Only one objective is able to be completed at a time (STARC-121508)
  • Fixed – PU – Physics / Locations – Instanced Hangars – When players leave their hangar through an approved gateway, the server may not recognize they have transitioned from their hangar zone, causing global loss of physics and interior zones (STARC-120365)
  • Fixed – PU – Locations – Personal Hangars – Unable to retrieve any ships at the location after retrieving a previously impounded ship, exiting to menu during retrieval or storing process, or taking elevator to spaceport during retrieval (STARC-93687)
  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Locations – Klescher Rehabilitation Facility – Mining / Ore Deposit / Kiosk – Attempting to sell gemstones to the Ore Deposit Terminal will return ‘Transaction Failed’
  • Fixed – PU – Locations – Instanced Hangars / ATC / Fleet Manager – ASOP times out retrieving vehicle following a failed retrieval cycle due to player walking on the descending landing platform during vehicle retrieval
  • Fixed – PU – Missions / UI – mobiGlas – Contract Manager – Title headers when selecting a contract can be cut off/incomplete when selecting a contract for the first time after opening your mobiGlas
  • Fixed issue with mission cargo not being recognized as mission related after a client crash/recover
  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Area18 – Locations / Hangar Instances – Missions / Service Beacon – Medical / Respawn / Actor – Players can complete the Medical Rescue Beacon when injecting dead player’s body with a MedPen or ParaMed gun before it despawns
