Star Citizen Alpha Patch 3.24.2

Alpha Patch 3.24.2 has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test!   Patch should now show: VERSION 3.24.2-PTU.9353512.

Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.

The current build is under NDA (Talking about features and testing is allowed but no sharing of game video, screenshots, audio, files, or accounts outside of Evocati)
Please log out then back in on the issue council site to see the Evocati environment there. Please make sure to only select the Evocati 3.24.0 environment when creating IC reports while the builds are Evocati only

Please monitor etf-testing-chat in spectrum for updates and testing instructions.
Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing.  When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the “Testing Focus”.  Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

Known Issues

For this update, set your initial spawn to Area18 or Orison as you will most likely run into grey panels blocking access to elevators.
We have a temporary cvar set that will help with ships falling through hangar elevators when lifting them up. This will be a little weird and teleporty but should help until a full fix is in.

  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Locations / Physics – Ships fall through hangar elevator platform on retrieval resulting in being stuck under hangar
  • PU – Stanton – ASOP / Fleet Manager / UI – ASOP terminal screen will be stuck on the getting vehicle list screen until terminal times out
  • PU – Stanton – Locations / Transit / Hangars – Some elevators have greyed out panels and do not respond when called
  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Collision – All vehicles clip through planet terrain when player exits the pilot seat

Ships and Vehicles

  • Reverted ship boost speed reductions to previous speeds
  • Added default options for the new ship settings which are applied when a ship spawns for the first time
  • Further MFD/HUD Visual Polish Passes

Weapons and Items

  • P8-AR ironsights will no longer be flipped when using an optic
  • Slightly Increased the damage of the Custodian
