Alpha Patch 3.24.2 has been released to the PTU, and is now available to test!   Patch should now show: VERSION 3.24.2-PTU.9374918.

Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.

New Global Event: “Save Stanton” Playtest!

Tonight on the 3.24.2 servers we will be running the first 4 phases of a new global event called Save Stanton!
This will start up shortly after the build has been released and run overnight with mission phases 1-4.

Known Issues

  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Vehicle Components – Quantum Drives – Cannot initiate quantum jump (low chance STARC-131460)

QT Workaround: De-allocate all power from systems in power management Re-allocate power to Quantum Drive and other systems.

  • MFD/Hud Polish and Marker Decluttering

We’ve made lots of adjustments to how much information is displayed directly in view with a large de-cluttering pass on markers.
A set amount of on screen markers are now considered “Essential”, meaning that they are always on display (this includes essential items such as hostile/locked/pinned/selected targets, objectives, navpoints, assigned hangars/landing areas, and party markers withing distance). Non-essential markers will be hidden by default. This only affects on screen markers and the radar will still display essential and non-essential items. This is a large step in making sure relevant information is clear in your view. To see non-essential markers around you with out the radar, you will need to use the ship ping (TAB default for keyboard players)

Along with this we’ve made further marker performance optimizations. Separated materials for starmap, holo radar, and screen radar to allow adjustments per context. Removed all edge markers from radar and fixing issues with determining whether a marker is within the volume on screen radars. Added stroke to Unpowered pips, and fix percent rounding wrapping of last pip.

  • Removed gimbals from non weapon turrets (Ships updated: Argo Mole, CNOU Nomad, Drake Caterpillar, MISC Prospector, ORIG 315P, RSI Constellation Taurus)
  • Tweaked weapons pool sizes and added engineering buffs to some vehicles to fix weapon power deficits
  • Added New Ships to Shops: Mirai Pulse, RSI Ursa Medivac, ARGO MPUV-1T, Aegis Sabre Firebird
  • Retaliator Modules Added in Component Shops
  • Ground Vehicle Emission rebalance
  • Legibility HUD/MFD Pass on BANU Defender and MISC Ships

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed – PU – Shopping / UI / Shopping Kiosk – Shop UI is horizontally stretched and can’t be interacted with (STARC-131895)
  • Fixed – PU – Multivehicle – Vehicle/IFCS – Camera – When holding ( W ) and switching to 3rd person ship stops accelerating and speeds drop to zero (STARC-129858)
  • Fixed – MULTIVEHICLE / MULTILOCATION – PU – Vehicles / Locations / UI – mobiGlas – VMS – Repair, refuel and restock is not working at various locations (STARC-123488)
  • Fixed – RSI Zeus (ALL VARIANTS) – PU – Vehicles – Player sat in co-pilot seat will be unable to exit if another player sits in the pilot seat (STARC-132418)
