Alpha Patch 3.24.2 has been released to the PTU, and is now available to test!   Patch should now show: VERSION 3.24.2-PTU.9381373.

Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.

New Global Event: “Save Stanton” Playtest!

Tonight on the 3.24.2 servers we will be running the first 2 phases of a new global event called Save Stanton!
This will start up shortly after the build has been released and run overnight with mission phases 1-2.

Known Issues

  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Vehicle Components – Quantum Drives – Cannot initiate quantum jump (low chance STARC-131460)

QT Workaround: De-allocate all power from systems in power management Re-allocate power to Quantum Drive and other systems.

  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Components – Unable to pull components out from their sockets
  • PU – Stanton – Locations – Hangars / Network – Hangar at Baijini Point is despawning whilst the player is using the area, without external factors, leaving them stuck inside LEO geo
  • PU – Stanton – Online Services / mobiGlas / commLink – Players are unable to receive updates to their Friends List
  • PU – Stanton – Transit – Trams from Lorville Metro Centre to Teasa Spaceport will rapidly rotate when leaving the station, which can push the player out of bounds or kill them
  • PU – Stanton – ASOP / Locations – Personal Hangar – Retrieving a ship results in “We are unable to deal with your request at this time” and no ship
  • Corsair co-pilot loses manual gimbal after remote turret (STARC-130625)
  • PU – Stanton – ArcCorp – Area18 – Locations / Art – Multiple areas across A18 have visarea/portal issues
  • PU – Stanton – UI / Locations / Vehicles / Kiosks – Vehicle Rentals / Purchase Kiosks preview image will overlap transaction UI once purchased
  • PU – Harvestables – Game Code / Planet Tech / Mining – Planets and Moons have no Harvestables/Mineables (Asteroid Fields not affected)
  • PU – LTP – Ships / Weapons – Purchased Tractor Beams do not persist in LTP
  • PU – Stanton – Multivehicle – MFD – MFDs can be interacted with while in mobiGlas
  • PU – Commodity Kiosks – Multiple Locations – “Failed” error appears when buying RMC from Commodity Kiosks
  • PU – Stanton – UI / Shipping & Delivery Kiosk – Shipping & Delivery Kiosk(Covalex)’s screen will be stuck on “Please Standby” after pressing “Pickup”

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Locations – Elevator doesn’t move to hangar when your hangar button is pressed (STARC-124127)
  • Fixed – PU – Save Stanton – Phase 1 – Mission Content / AI – Enemy ship AI can be unresponsive to the player (STARC-133466)
  • Fixed – ALL MODES – Changing system language using LALT + LSHIFT while Star Citizen is running prevents any further inputs from registering in game (STARC-132222)
  • Fixed – AC – Vehicles – UI – ALL MODES – Cant enable Multi-Crew mode on eligible Game Modes (STARC-132226)
  • Fixed – Weapon and Shield charge and drain times are being impacted by server tick, leading to excessive regen times
  • Fixed – PU – UI / Locations – mobiGlas – Star Map – “Hurston Dynamics Showcase” is misspelled on the Star Map app as “Huston” (STARC-105807)
  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Multivehicle – Vehicles / MFDS / UI – The Scanning MFD is not displaying ore / cargo in mining bags
  • Fixed – Mining lasers on mole and prospector can not be changed (STARC-133279)
  • Fixed – MISC Starfarer – PU – Vehicles / Ship Refuel – Hydrogen fuel is depleted despite Nozzle being closed and Flow Rate not adjusted
  • Fixed – PU – Save Stanton – Phase 1 – Mission Content – Mission A stops being completable at progress 4/6 and 2/6
