Star Citizen Alpha Patch 4.0
Alpha Patch 4.0 has been released to Wave 1 testers! Patch should now show: VERSION 4.0.0-EPTU.9450491.
Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.

- PU – Pyro – Rundown Station (R&R) – Checkmate – Locations / AI – AI are spawning out of bounds floating inside of the station
- PU – Medical Insurance Terminal / UI – Regeneration kiosk UI does not update after transferring imprint
- PU – Pyro – Network / Streaming / Locations – Certain Rastar Locations will briefly stream in for all player located in Pyro, regardless of distance
- PU – Multi-System – Jump Points – Ships / Vehicles / VFX – Ships will have a VFX trail in front of the Cockpit after Jumping whenever the Vehicle moves
- Stall – Client – PU – Jump Points – Performance – There is a brief client stall when travelling through the Jump Point Tunnels

Ships and Vehicles
Advanced Flight HUD
Activating the new, more advanced flight HUD on all ships! This new HUD can be enabled per ship on the ship configuration page or fully enabled through the in game options. This advanced HUD allows players see much more dynamic information than the previous HUD and includes new acceleration displays, orientation, VSI, radio altimeter(r-alt) which is the altitude above terrain, above sea level altimeter, atmospheric pressure, and more. This advanced HUD will continue to function while in the current QT mode. This also includes new, interim icons for ship states like landing gear, coupled/decoupled, esp, and more. These current icons are attached below for quick information.
Core Tech
Dynamic Audio Polish
Various mix refinements throughout Pyro.. Reduced the level of planet fps ambient tracks to match Pyro2. Reduced level of ContestedZone combat music to match levels in the mix session. Also matched other combat playlists in Pyro to the Contested Zone combat levels. Lowered volume of some ATC music elements.

Today’s build contains further performance updates to resolve RASTAR locations streaming to all players in the PU as well as further fixes for missing ground collision and many Pyro outposts
