Happy Monday, everyone!
Ship Showdown is in full swing and we’re in the midst of whittling down your top 16! The 16 most upvoted and cheered vehicles of Phase 1 now compete in daily head-to-head battles in an attempt to be crowned Ship Showdown Champion 2952. Remember, not only will the top eight be available during the upcoming Free Fly, but the final four will also receive special prizes later this year.
Also, if you missed it, check out the latest episode of Inside Star Citizen where we provide an update on the latest with Persistent Entity Streaming development. We’ve seen a lot of questions pop up about what the experience will be like on launch, and are currently gathering up those questions and chasing down answers with the developers directly.
Lastly, for those looking to dive into charity fundraising this year, consider yourself invited to join our Battle of the Bricks team to help raise money for Extra Life to support children in need.

Ship Showdown Phase 2 continues on Monday as the sturdy Freelancer Max faces the utilitarian Argo RAFT in a face-to-face battle.
This Tuesday, the Narrative team will publish an episode of StarWatch. Join them as a vid star loses their role after regening so often the production team doesn’t consider them the same actor they hired.
Also, on Tuesday, members of our Subscribers’ program can look forward to the monthly Comm-Link packed with important information about the month ahead.
Wednesday, our teams will share their development progress with you as we’re going to publish August’s Monthly Report for the PU and send out Squadron 42‘s report via email.
On Thursday, we kick off a Free Fly, providing the Ship Showdown’s top eight ships and vehicles for free, complete with a sweet referral bonus and discounted starter packs. Keep an eye out for comm-links on Thursday with all the details (and tell your friends!).
This week’s episode of Inside Star Citizen features a detailed look into the ongoing progress of planetary settlements and the latest Sprint Report.
