Star Citizen Alpha Patch 3.24.2

Alpha Patch 3.24.2 has been released to the PTU, and is now available to test!   Patch should now show: VERSION 3.24.2-PTU.9366112.

Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.

Known Issues

Not tonight but the next 3.24.2 build after should have a fix in for the fuel prices. They were getting multiplied incorrectly by backend resource network systems so getting worked on now to update later this week.

  • PU – Weapons – Shopping – There is no P8-AR ammunition being sold in the PU
  • PU – Shopping / UI / Shopping Kiosk – Shop UI is horizontally stretched and can’t be interacted with
  • SHIP spawns on floating hangar lights (Work around is to go to lobby and spawn ships or store a ship as animations wont have to play)
  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Vehicle Components – Quantum Drives – Cannot initiate quantum jump (low chance STARC-131460)
  • QT Workaround: De-allocate all power from systems in power management Re-allocate power to Quantum Drive and other systems.
  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles – Shields are not negating or blocking damage from weapon fire (STARC-130934)
  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / Components – Unable to pull components out from their sockets
  • PU – Stanton – UI / Performance – Turret UI names are being shown around Points of interest causing framerate drops (STARC-130999)
  • PU – Stanton – Locations – Hangars / Network – Hangar at Baijini Point is despawning whilst the player is using the area, without external factors, leaving them stuck inside LEO geo
  • PU – Stanton – Online Services / mobiGlas / commLink – Players are unable to receive updates to their Friends List
  • PU – Stanton – ASOP / Locations – Personal Hangar – Retrieving a ship results in “We are unable to deal with your request at this time” and no ship
  • PU – Harvestables – Game Code / Planet Tech / Mining – Planets and Moons have no Harvestables/Mineables
  • PU – NPE – Missions – Multiple Locations – Tutorial does not progress after leaving the HAB elevator
  • Carrack bottom right MFD has no display (STARC-130157)
  • Multivehicle – PU – Vehicles / VMS – Refuelling Hydrogen takes Player’s credit without refuelling and will increase cost after purchase
  • Corsair co-pilot loses manual gimbal after remote turret (STARC-130625)

  • Fixed – PU – Stanton – Graphics / Vehicle MFDs / Ships / UI – Thrusting [ WASD ] and using Boosters [ L-SHIFT ] while inside any type of Avenger ship while the game’s graphic setting is set to low, will cause MFDs to blackout (STARC-130246)
  • Fixed – OMNI AFS Sapphire Armored Flight Suit – PU – Actor – Armor – Weapon item port placement is by the suit’s legs at ankle length (STARC-129852)
  • Fixed – Esperia Prowler – PU – Vehicles / GFX / Art – VisArea issues around components near pilot seat
  • Fixed – Stanton – Commodity Kiosks / UI – Unable to select specific location inventories while armor is equipped
  • Fixed – PU – Locations – Transit / Hangars / Elevators – LEO Hangar elevator stuck on Elevator Called and does not open
