Star Citizen Alpha Patch 4.0.2
Alpha Patch 4.0.2 has been released onto the PTU environment! Launcher should now show: VERSION 4.0.2-PTU.9587261.
Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update. This will also include contested zone keycards, weapons, and salvaged items and components for this update.

Known Issues
- Critical: PU – Transit – Entity carriage is stuck in transit to a gateway, but never arrives which renders the gateway unusable
- Critical: PU – Multisystem – Hangars / Fleet Manager – Stowing ships in Instanced hangars can cause ships to be improperly stowed and stuck on the hangar when another ship is called
- Critical: PU – Stanton – Personal Hangars – Ships / Vehicles / Game Code / Locations – Instanced/Staging Hangars are not Force Storing/Closing correctly when the Player Leaves via Elevator (STARC-157848)
- Critical: PU – Locations – Personal Hangars – Actor – If player ungracefully exits while in hangar, hangar stows and does not unstow upon recovery
- Critical: Mission Refactor – Comm Array Repair – Contract in mobiGlas becomes hidden when another player enters mission location
- Critical: Mission Refactor – PVP Missions dont work
- Critical: PU – Star Map – Party Members do not appear on the star map or area map
- High: PU – Locations / UI / Shopping Kiosk – Delivery location when purchasing any item is missing
- High: PU – Pyro – Jump Points – Locations / Spacescaping – Asteroids that surround the Stanton Gateway can be seen inside the Jump Tunnel and occasionally can cause fatal collisions when exiting the Jump Tunnel
- High: PU – Pyro – Jump Point – Failing a Jump point will displace the player far away from the gateway station
Bug Fixes
- Potential Fix: PU – Stanton – Instanced Hangars – Ships / Vehicles / Game Code / Locations – Instanced/Staging Hangars are not Force Storing/Closing correctly when the Player Leaves via Elevator
This fix may also affect other hangar stowing issues that have been occurring such as ships getting stuck in hangar when another is called and ships getting in an unstowed state when disconnecting in various ways while it is in the hangar
- Potential Fix: AI Defense Area is breaking and causing issues with AI attacking during the Destroy Supply Lines Event Mission
