Star Citizen Alpha Patch 4.0
Alpha Patch 4.0 has been released to Wave 1 testers! Patch should now show: VERSION 4.0.0-EPTU.9437452.
Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.

Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the “Testing Focus”. Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

Known Issues
Note: A change went into today’s build that will make using the jump tunnel extremely difficult. This is not intended but will be a fun challenge if you make it! We recommend setting your home location to the system you want to spend your time in.
- PU – Stanton / Pyro – Jump Points – Player unable to control ship after making contact with Jump Tunnel obstructions
- SC – Character Customizer – Camera is offset and does not stay in place while editing character
- Stall – Client – PU – Jump Points – Performance – There is a brief client stall when travelling through the Jump Point Tunnels
- PU – Multi-System – Jump Points – Ships / Vehicles / SFX / Audio – The Jump Point SFX are rapidly looping/cut off
- PU – UI – mobiGlas – mobiGlas UI is displaying incorrectly on several pages/tabs

PDC Hostility Changes
PDCs will now defend the ship from anything that attacks it This means they won’t attack anything that doesn’t attack them first (other than incoming missiles/torpedoes).
It means they will attack anyone that shoots it above friendly fire threshold, including police and even the ships owner or party members. They have no allegiance to anyone but the ship.
